About Us

The PEC Pregnancy & Family Care Centre is a locally organized non-profit, charitable Christian organization committed to providing assistance to any woman who may be facing a crisis pregnancy regardless of age, race, creed or marital status. Services are available for herself, her family and the father of the baby. The Centre is funded solely by donations received from individuals, businesses and churches and it’s this support that enables us to offer programs and services to our clients at no charge.

Our Mission  To walk with women facing unplanned pregnancies, providing alternatives to abortion, continuing support and Hope for the future, as well as providing support, education and connection for parents raising a family.

Our Vision  To see fewer women choosing abortion by reaching out to the abortion vulnerable; to see fewer teen pregnancies and broken youth by sharing the importance of sexual integrity; to see more children born into stable two parent homes by mentoring moms and dads in their parenting role; to see more lives changed through the saving power of Jesus Christ.

We are a satellite centre of the Belleville Pregnancy & Family Care Centre which was established in 1990 In 2004 The Belleville Centre opened its first satellite the Anchor of Hope in Madoc and in 2008 the PEC Pregnancy & Family Care Centre was opened.

We offer information as well as material items and spiritual and emotional support. We provide a connection to many helpful services in the community offered through social service agencies and churches who embrace the sanctity of human life.
